Rainbow Six Siege’s Sugar Fright event begins today

Ubisoft has declared an all-out candy war in Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege with a limited-time event called the Sugar Fright. Here’s what you need to know about this newly released event.

If you haven’t already had a chance to jump on in and test your skills in previous Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege events, now is the time. Starting today, Oct. 27th, 2020, until Nov. 10th, 2020, you can get a chance to experience the games upcoming mode, Candy War, which will allow players to respawn for the first time ever in the title.

The mode, while only available for two weeks, will take place in a fantastical land filled with an abundance of both candy as well as death. The only hope operators have of escaping is to collect enough candy to win the Candy War.

The matches will take place in a brand-new map specifically created for the mode and will only be available during the event’s playlist period. The mode will see players collecting candies left by players they’ve taken out, allowing them to respawn, seek revenge, or continue on with their candy-induced rampage.

30 unique items can be collected during the event, including customizations for the following operators:

  • Capitao
  • Castle
  • Ela
  • Frost
  • Goyo
  • IQ
  • Nomad

Each of the stylings is puppet-like, making each of the operators look even better than they were before, fitting into the event just right. Packs can be earned or purchased for 300 R6 credits each, or 12,500 Renown each in the packs section of the Home screen.

The bundles fo reach operator is also available in the shp for 1860 R6 Credits each. So what are you waiting for? Prepare for the sugar rush with Candy War! Wait… Isn’t too much candy a bad idea?
