Bio:
David Murphy is the co-owner of Blast Away the Game Review and the man-behind-the-scenes. Many may know him as the 8-bit-gamer who’s stuck in a 4K world. David’s earliest influences in gaming stim from his experiences in the arcades growing up. His love for games come from the earliest days of titles ranging from Dig Dug, Galaga, Bubble Bobble, Pac-Man, Asteroids, and of course, Donkey Kong on Atari.
Aside from moonlighting as a journalist, editor, and content creator, David also works in the IT field, working on systems and networks that help the IT world function. When he isn’t, David is a family man, spending time with both of his sons, playing video games, watching car shows, and of course, spending time with his Wife of 40+ years.
When it comes to games, however, he’s one that will find any way to win and think tactically when Dustin is bullrushing the enemies.
