During EA’s E3 event EA PLAY, the publisher has revealed that ANTHEM, the open world Action-RPG featuring cooperative multiplayer, will be launching in February of 2019 for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
During their pre-E3 event, EA revealed that their upcoming title Anthem is set to release on February 22, 2019, for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The latest IP from the developer BioWare will give players an entirely new adventure from that of what we’ve previously experienced in any other game before. In the game, players will take on the role of a pilot who has the means, the power, and the ability to fight back the forces that threaten all of humanity with the Javelin exosuit.
In Anthem, you will team up with up to three other friends as you explore and battle in a dangerous and mysterious land never-before-seen by the eyes of humanity. Your story will be crafted as you play to ensure that no two players will ever experience the world of Anthem the same. Players will see the world through the eyes of their pilot and their Javelin exosuits while wielding the power of amazing weapons and combat focused special abilities as you explore a vicious and hostile environment.
During EA’s EA PLAY showcase, BioWare confirmed that players will be able to personalize their suits with unique paint jobs and a variety of equipment to ensure that they can take on any situation that comes their way and having the appearance they prefer. Along with customizations, EA has confirmed that the game will not feature loot boxes, but will feature optional customizations which can be purchased at the player’s discretion.
Additionally, EA and BioWare have revealed that players who are excited to enter the dangerous world of Anthem can prepare to do so today by pre-ordering the game, which will give them VIP demo access and a unique in-game Founders banner to enjoy. Additionally, EA has confirmed that those who pre-order Anthem Standard Edition will receive a legendary weapon and the Legion of Dawn Armor Pack for the Ranger Javelin as part of their pre-order bonus content. For those that opt to pre-order the Legion of Dawn Edition will receive the full set of Legion of Dawn Armor Packs as well as a Ranger Javelin gear attachment and the digital soundtrack.

Anthem is developed by BioWare and will be available worldwide February 22 for Origin for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Origin Access Premier members can be the first to play the full game with unlimited access on PC starting February 15, and EA Access and Origin Access Basic members can enjoy up to 10 hours of play time as part of the Play First Trial.
