The official 2022 Roadmap for Fallout 76 has arrived and comes with plenty of content

The official 2022 Roadmap for Fallout 76 is here and gives players plenty to anticipate as they wander the West Virginia Wastelands.

Over the past year, it’s hard to not admit that Fallout 76 has been growing rather steadily. Fans are happier than ever, the world is brimming full of new stories, new NPCs, some familiar names, and plenty of new content to dig your way through. That doesn’t mean that fans aren’t going to need to expect even more in the upcoming year.

As seasons change in the real world, so are things in West Virginia within the West Virginia Wastelands. This year, Bethesda Game Studios is ready to pump out more content than ever before. Four quarters worth the content have been planned. The plans include new story elements, a variety of new Public Events, and even an all-new group-based Expedition for fans to enjoy.

This even includes the Nuka-World roadshow in Appalachia and the Test Your Metal update. Don’t forget, these also include new items to update your character and your C.A.M.P. with too! So let’s take a look at those seasons right quick.

First up, the Spring update is on its way. It’ll be here sooner than expected actually. It will include the new Invaders From Beyond, where players will encounter UFO appearances and the return of aliens. As part of these new events, players will defeat the invaders, destroy their Brainwave Siphons, and hopefully bring an end to their research. The new season does include new PvP Settings, a new S.C.O.R.E. to earn with new daily and weekly challenges, as well as new settings for C.A.M.P., and various other obtainable goodies.

The summer update will include the Test Your Metal, Eviction Notice, and Moonshine Jamboree public events. Fallout 1st members can expect some scoreboard improvements like challenges, increased S.C.O.R.E. earn rate, and exclusive board ranks that will be available to them as part of the Summer content drop. If you aren’t a Fallout 1st member, don’t sweat it, the content is still there for you to enjoy as you had before!

In the Fall and Winter content drops, you’ll first see the Pitt Expedition arrive, which will be experienced in a whole new way. This will be done by players accessing an all-new hub in Whitespring, where they will choose to venture outside of Appalachia for the very first time. This update will include new rewards, new NPCs with all-new quests, dialogue treets, and Trogs from Fallout 3: The Pitt.

Afterwards, as an entrepreneur of the wasteland has kicked a few tires, a few cans, and even a few scraps of metal, you’ll get to see a fellow bringing life to the Ash Heap region of Appalachia with the Nuka-World on Tour traveling roadshow “players can anticipate new Public Events with this update including a new Region Boss Public Event. Earn loot, explore the grounds, and interact with new NPCs to learn more about the show,” Bethesda Game Studios reveals on the official Fallout 76 blog.
