Rainbow Six Siege’s The Road to Six Invitational In-Game Event returns

In an all-new update for Rainbow Six Siege, Ubisoft has revealed that The Road to Six Invitational in-game event will begin tomorrow across all available platforms. Here’s what you need to know, including, an all-new trailer to celebrate the launch of the event.

In an official announcement, Ubisoft has confirmed that the Road to Six Invitationals is set to appear once again in 2021 for all currently-available platfoms including the newly launched PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S family of consoles. The Six Invitational 2021 Battle Pass will be available starting January 21st and will run through February 22nd, 2021.

Ubisoft has also revealed in their announcement that the map Stadium, is returning, which combines the elements of both Border and Coastline maps, making it so all Operators will be unlocked in a three-minute, three-run, unranked Plant Bomb, with Pick and Ban options enabled. Those that do participate in trying out the returning mode will find that the Captains of their teams will be the following Operators during this event: Mira, Capitão, Ash, and Vigil.

Those who opt to purchase the pack will be able to claim prizes from both the Free track as well as the Premium track, while the latter will be available for those who opt out. The Premium track of unlockables will be available for 1200 R6 Credits when it launches. The new S.I. 2021 Battle Pass will have a total of 100 tiers that feature 135 available unlocks.

In order to progress it, players will need to play any of the available modes, working with their team mates, and coordinating the best strategies in order to move through the pass during the S.I. in-game event. Exclusive gear will be available for the Captains as well as their team mates alongside other additional content. 30% of all revenue from the Battle Pass will support the 2021 prize pool for the Six Invitational 2021 event up to a total of 3 million USD.

The competition, in order to ensure player safety, will follow strict sanitary measures that are in line with guidelines from the health organizations and local authorities.

Additionally, Ubisoft has revealed there will be no audiences participating in the event for 2021 due to the ongoing pandemic. Fans, however, can tune in via Twitch and YouTube in order to see the best teams in the world face off against one another as well as connect with one another during the time. There are also planned pnales for the event that will shwo off the future of Siege through the developer panels.

Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege is now available for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One with free upgrades through the Xbox Series X|S smart delivery system and PlayStation 5’s free-upgrade option.
