DISSIDIA FINAL FANTASY NT Free Edition is coming to PC and PlayStation 4 this April, featuring rotating rosters and purchasable options.
Since its launch, DISSIDIA FINAL FANTASY NT has managed to set itself apart from other fighting games; focusing on its core elements as a team-based fighter, seeing teams of three face one another down to see who the best of the best actually is. However, the experience has been exclusive to the PlayStation 4 up until this point.
As of next March 12th, Square Enix has revealed that the player base will be expanding to PC players when DISSIDIA FINAL FANTASY NT Free Edition launches on Steam and PlayStation 4. This free-to-play version will feature an ever-changing roster, allowing fighting game fans and Final Fantasy fans alike to try out various characters across the history of the series.
Those looking to try out the free edition of the game will be able to go head to head against owners of the full version of the game. Those looking to play it, however, will be required to have an active PlayStation Plus membership for PlayStation 4 users who opt to play the game. Those that play it will have a chance to upgrade their game to the full version of the game as well as purchase a Season Pass to include all currently available DLC characters.
The options will be available to both PC and PlayStation 4 users who decide to continue the game and have access to all available characters.
