As we prepare for our “Road to QuakeCon” series, id Software has kicked it off with the announcement that should have DOOM (2016) fans reeling as they have confirmed that DOOM Eternal’s gameplay reveal will take place during QuakeCon 2018.
After analyzing the DOOM Eternal trailer to the point we’ve picked it apart to almost nothing, id Software has once more upped the antie by confirming that those attending QuakeCon 2018 will have a chance to see the first gameplay reveal of DOOM Eternal. The upcoming event will take place in Dallas, TX, from August 9, 2018, through August 12, 2018, at the Gaylord Texan Resort.
In the trailer, fans got a first glimpse of the Doom Slayer’s upcoming armor, which hints at a return of his DOOM II: Hell on Earth armor. Meanwhile, it looks like enemies such as the Arachnotron’s and even the Pain Elemental’s will make their debut in the newly rebooted series.
DOOM Eternal was revealed during Bethesda’s E3 2018 Showcase, which gave us a look at Bethesda’s upcoming titles. The gameplay reveal will happen on August 10, 2018.
