In an email sent out today, Bandai Namco has confirmed that the highly anticipated title, CODE VEIN, has been pushed back from its original Sept. 28, 2018, release date until an unknown date in 2019.

As the demand for games such as CODE VEIN begins to mount, companies have become more aware of the demand for a quality product from their fans and critics alike. As the demand does continue to grow and the positive reactions from fans and critics alike, Bandai Namco has revealed today that they want to dedicate additional time to further develop CODE VEIN into the game they know will deliver on the expectations set amongst both the media and the fans.

CODE VEIN has received an enormous amount of positive feedback from eager fans who have received hands-on time with in-development versions of the game over the past nine months,” said Eric Hartness, Vice President of Marketing for BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment America Inc. “Armed with knowledge of how well the game has already been received, we made the decision to postpone the release of CODE VEIN to further refine its gameplay in an effort to exceed the expectations fans already have of the title. It was a difficult decision to make, but we feel it is the correct one.

In order to ensure your experience is the best, Bandai Namco has confirmed that players will still be able to craft their own unique characters and customize their experience by equipping numerous weapons, items, skills, and gifts in order to help them enjoy their time in the CODE VEIN experience when the game launches in the Americas on PC via Steam, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in 2019.

Stay tuned as we’ll keep you updated when more information regarding CODE VEIN is released.
