Fortnite’s Thanos Event is a unique take on the 100-person deathmatch where players fight to survive, but now, the Mad Titan has taken over and his final hours are quickly ticking down before the event comes to an end.
While Avengers: Infinity War continues to reap its box office rewards and mindboggling success for the series, players are running out of time to experience the Fortnite: Battle Royale event, which sees to players fighting over the Infinity Gauntlet and becoming the Mad Titan Thanos.
Epic Games has revealed that today is the final day for players to get their last few remaining matches in. Since the game mode is a limited time event, it should come as no surprise that the Mad Titan is about to retreat to his homeworld of Titan for some much-deserved rest. After all, how long can a single man run about beating Fortnite survivors into the ground before needing to snap his fingers until the 2019 film release?
As fun as the Infinity War/Fortnite mashup actually is, it was always advertised as a Limited Time Event and has seemingly kept true to its word. However, it doesn’t seem like we shouldn’t give up hopes for any crossover events ever again. It just happens to be that Fortnite: Battle Royale is one of the biggest games on the market and doesn’t show any chance of slowing down anytime soon.
