RAGE 2 is currently in development in association with Avalanche Studios, the team that brought you both the Just Cause series and the Mad Max open world title. Bethesda has confirmed that a new trailer will be making an appearance tomorrow featuring open-world gameplay elements.

After having been previously leaked by Wal-Mart Canada, it seems that the surprises from Bethesda may already be over. Now that the cat is fully out of the bag, the internet is getting their first look at the ambitious sequel to the 2010 id Software title, RAGE. As part of their surprises, some fans had begun to hold their breaths for a sequel to the class-based team shooter BRINK from Splash Damage, the team behind the free-to-play title Dirty Bomb.

However, we know little of RAGE 2 outside of the fact it looks like it’ll be a colorful, explosive, and unusual time in the post-apocalyptic world that id Software helped create.

As you can see through the trailer, it seems that the game will be filled with colorful cast members, some that feel as if they were directly pulled from 80’s and 90’s inspired post-apocalypse movies such as Mad MaxDemolition Man, and Tank Girl.

While we know little about when and if we can expect RAGE 2 anytime soon, Bethesda has revealed that they will be releasing an official gameplay trailer tomorrow, almost a month ahead of their #BE3 2018 event as a pre-E3 show and their annual QuakeCon event, which takes place between August 9, 2018, and August 12, 2018, at the Gaylord Texan in Dallas, Texas. You can check out the official Box Art for the game down below.

Currently, RAGE 2 is in development for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, and will release as a true open-world FPS experience for fans to enjoy. With both id Software and Avalanche Sweden working on the game, we can only expect it to be bigger, badder, and more outrageous than ever.
