After having spent a few weeks in closed testing in an invite-only state, publisher and developer Epic Games has officially announced that they’ve worked out all the kinks in Fortnite for iOS and has officially announced that this version of the title is now live and free-to-play for all iOS device owners.

Additionally, Epic Games has revealed that Fortnite Mobile contains all the same features as its PC and console versions. Those looking to log in to their Epic Games account can do so and carry over their progress, characters, and rewards between all available platforms they play. Due to its high-end requirements, Epic Games has confirmed that Fortnite Mobile does require iOS 11, iPhone’s 6S, 7, X, or SE in order to play. On the tablet side, they have confirmed it will only play on iPad Mini 4, Air 2, 2017, and Pro models as noted by Fortnite developer Epic Games.

To contend with it, PUBG Corp has recently released PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds Mobile, which has exceeded more than 10 million downloads since its release just a short few weeks ago. No matter what one you choose, you may want to ensure you don’t get busted playing it during classes.

If you choose Fortnite Mobile, just remember to watch for that strange and elusive comet that others have noticed during their matches.
