Since early this morning, around 5AM CST, my phone was instantly blowing up with the news regarding the official release of PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds having launched on mobile devices here in the states. As part of the news having broke, I was one of those that instantly headed over to Google Play and proceeded to download Tencent and PUBG Corps’ latest endeavor into the world of PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds with PUBG Mobile.
Pros:
+Extremely well-written stories that unfold throughout the course of the game
+Character development and backstory is spot-on, allowing for fans new and old to enjoy the story as it unfolds
+Combat and experience earning has been completely re-worked
+Minigames such as Virtua Fighter 5 and Puyo Puyo minigames are an absolute delight to play
Cons:
-Combat steel feels a bit dated, but the improvements definitely take away from past frustrations.
Since the launch of Yakuza Zero and Yakuza Kiwami, I’ve been in a tricky spot with the Yakuza series. I’ve had little experience with the games outside of the past two reviews I’ve done and only recently have I found myself becoming a dedicated fan of Sega’s long-running underworld crime saga that has continued on over the past three console generations (counting this current generation that is).
With a year since its release, Yakuza Kiwamia (you can see our review here) was released, allowing us to see Kazuma Kiryu as he took his leave from the world of the Yakuza. However, fate is a cruel mistress and Kiryu, the legendary Dragon of Dojima, was once more drug back into the world of the Yakuza as a potential all-out war between the families began to ignite. As the potential war has begun to brew, SEGA has announced that Kazuma Kiryu is preparing for his valiant return with Yakuza Kiwami 2 on August 28, 2018, for $49.99.
The Crew made its grand appearance on the E3 stage with its first debut trailer back in 2013, setting the tone for a new type of racing style games. From the simple things like getting those annoying cops off your tail to just having a one v one match down Interstate 95. Now they are taking it a step even further. And now they have shifted gears and have hit that turbo button and have set a sequel in placed and will cross the finish line in first place again with The Crew 2.
Indie publisher Versus Evil with a partnership with indie developer Stoic came together and released their 3rd and final Chapter in the award-winning Viking role-playing game, The Banner Saga 3. Coming Summer 2018 to PC, XBOX One and lastly PlayStation 4.
Today, Square Enix and Crystal Dynamic have officially revealed Shadow of the Tomb Raider, which will be available on September 14, 2018, for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. With a worldwide release headed our way, the company has also announced that Shadow of the Tomb Raider will get a full reveal on April 27, 2018, for fans around the world.

Today, Square Enix has announced that Vayne Carudas Solido, the charismatic antagonist of Final Fantasy XII will be joining the roster in Dissidia Final Fantasy NT as the first character of the game’s already available Season Pass. Square Enix has announced that Vayne will be available at the end of April for fans to utilize as a new and ambitious fighter.
There’s no doubt about it: Tekken 7 is by far one of the most ambitious and enjoyable fighting games on the market. Toss in the fact we’ve already received a rather suitable fighter out of Geese Howard (if you haven’t, check out our review of Geese Howard while you’re at it) and Tekken 7 is shaping up to be one of the strongest fighting games on the market.
