Whether it’s wading through a swamp, dwelling in a bathtub, bashing a few skulls in, or simply enjoying the sights to see, Geralt of Rivia is a busy man in one way or another. Today, Bandai Namco has announced that Geralt will be finding his latest adventure by joining the roster of Soulcalibur VI.

As part of their announcement, the official Soulcalibur Twitter feed tweeted out the announcement with the following:

“A legendary warrior enters the stage of history. White Wolf, Butcher of Blaviken, the Witcher: he bears many names, but you know him best as Geralt of Rivia. Wield his steel and silver swords on the stage of Kaer Morhen, and use his signs wisely to take down all who defy you.”

As many gamers know, Geralt of Rivia is well known for his antics such as dwelling around in bathtubs and his unicorn related antics. However, many may have not noticed: Geralt of Rivia is the mascot for many news outlets these days and even one of the most renowned faces in the gaming industry.

At this time, it’s unknown when Soulcalibur VI will launch for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, but Bandai Namco has confirmed that the game will launch later in 2018.
