Digital Extremes has been hard at work with the latest update, one of the largest yet for their free-to-play game, and one that has been considered to be the best update to the title yet. The new update completely rocked the Warframe community the moment Plains of Eidolon launched.  With its new content featuring a 60 player open-world, a new basecamp, quests, new enemies, side activities such as fishing, and hunting; Plains of Eidolon is by far, the most ambitious update to the current day.

tekken7_SC01

Bandai Namco has a smash-hit franchise that’s doing well for itself with the latest entry. It’s beautiful, it’s combat is fluid, and it’s easily one of the most enjoyable fighters on the market. It’s already crossed-over with Capcom’s Street Fighter series and is now preparing to do another cross-over with Square Enix’s Final Fantasy XV by bringing Noctis into the arena.

If You’re a Console Gamer, You’re Missing Out On These 10 Great Games

razer-keyboard

Console gamers in this day and age have had a lucky hand dealt to them. They’ve gotten their hands on some pretty solid ports such as WarframeSmiteNeverwinterKilling Floor 2, and a select few others. The experiences of those games are actually quite awesome, but not to the extent of what their PC variants are, and will ever be. PC gamers are in luck, they get mods, they get updates right off the bat, and they don’t have to wait for files to be uploaded to game servers in order to enjoy their games. Also, they don’t have to pay subscription fees.

Opinion: I Don’t Trust EA With Respawn’s Studio

RespawnEntertainmentEALogos

Lets be completely honest about this: I love Titanfall 2. So-much-so that I own it on Xbox One and PlayStation 4. To me, it is by far one of the best velocity-focused FPS titles out there and may ever be out there. Respawn drove it home the moment they released Titanfall 2 and displayed an assured fact that they had learned from Titanfall by making it an console exclusive. Let alone did they learn from that, they also learned from the fact it had not a single drop of campaign, and that it didn’t float well with fans.

Review: .hack//G.U. Last Recode – Lets Recode the Series

_hack__G_U_ Last Recode_20171105200014

Pros:
+Graphics have been heavily improved upon in order to deliver an HD experience
+Sound effects, music, and even voice overs have seemingly been improved in quality
+Gameplay remains the same as it were in the PlayStation 2 entries
+Vol. 4: Reconnection is an absolute blast and a perfect closing to a series

Cons:
-Combat hasn’t been improved upon, but instead remains much the same
-Still lacks guidance to help new players make their way through the game with onscreen queues

15 years later and here I am, revisiting my late teen years by revisiting the .hack//G.U. games, ones that I spent plenty of evenings playing with any disregard for time. Unlike the other franchises at the time, it was a game series that was completely different, completely unique. Why was it all of that? Because I could relate to the main protagonist Haseo and his friends. It’s a game that took everything I loved about my time with World of Warcraft and completely turned it on its head.

Review: Nights of Azure 2: Bride of the New Moon – A Moon That’ll Never Set

NightsofAzure2_Screenshot16

Pros:
+An outstanding soundtrack as well as solid atmospherics that set the mood
+Graphics have been heavily upgraded from the previous entry offering more depth and artistic value
+Extremely enjoyable cast members that each feel unique and well rounded

Con:
-Combat system feels dulled down due to the limited party sizes
-Time restrictions while playing the game
-Exploring is slightly limited compared to the previous entry

Before games launch, we’re used to seeing a lot of interest being drawn in just before they hit the shelves in order to grow the games publicity, but also to reach a rather large audience. Games like NiohDOOM, and even Wolfenstien II: The New Colossus did this rather well. One such game that hasn’t, just happens to be Nights of Azure 2: Bride of the New Moon, a game that carries on the traditional elements we’ve seen from developer Gust in previous years.
