MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM BATTLE OPERATION Code Fairy will be the first successor since the free-to-play title MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM BATTLE OPERATION launched on PlayStation 4 not too long ago. Now, Bandai Namco Entertainment America Inc. is looking to step up the game with an epic tale set in the world of GUNDAM.
The upcoming title, MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM BATTLE OPERATION Code Fairy will be telling an all-new original story surrounding the lore of “Nosy Fairy”. Noisy Fairy is a secret unit led by Alma during the direct control of Kycilia of the Principality of Zeon during the “One Year War”. The story will unfold as the Noisy Fairy unit struggles to gain foothold in the North American continent, telling the tale of how unbreakable bonds were forged, how the brutality of war affects them, and show just how far either side will go to win.
“We’re thrilled to welcome both fans and newcomers to the world of MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM BATTLE OPERATION,” said Lin Leng, Senior Director of Marketing at BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment America Inc. “Between its explosive mecha combat and turbulent story, we can’t wait for players to climb into the cockpits of the legendary mobile suits to experience a pivotal tale in the Gundam saga!”
Let alone is this a standalone title, it will also have strong ties to the free-to-play title MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM BATTLE OPERATION 2. Bandai Namco has confirmed that the game will feature the highly dramatic and top-notch action dynamic gameplay mechanics of GBO2, which will also mean that fans can expect to unlock a goody when they obtain their copy of MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM BATTLE OPERATION Code Fairy ahead of its launch.
What are the goodies? You can expect to unlock several special rewards by progressing through Code Fairy such as an original mobile suit, a special mission, and more as they progress. It is worth noting, however, the progression unlocks have not been outlined at this time and that Code Fairy is set to launch exclusively on PlayStation 4 and 5 at $59.99 and $49.99 respectively.
Volumes 1-3 will launch individually as well for $19.99 and do have release dates of November 5th, November 19th, and December 3rd at 12:00am ET on their respective days. Those who pre-order will receive their volumes a day earlier than the rest. Not a bad deal for those wanting some serious MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM BATTLE OPERATION Code Fairy lore!
