The Medium is set to launch on PlayStation 5 this September

The Medium from Bloober Team is bringing its unique story-telling elements to the PlayStation 5 after its launch earlier this year on PC and Xbox Series X|S. Find out just what kind of uniqueness awaits those who choose to brave Marianne’s story.

It’s official. The Medium is coming to PlayStation 5 on September 3rd, 2021, after a rather successful launch on PC and Xbox platforms. After nearly 9 months of exclusivity on the Xbox Series X|S consoles, the story that is Marianne’s will invite PlayStation users to experience its unique and haunting story.

To celebrate its upcoming launch, Bloober Team presented an all-new Gamescom Launch Trailer rather recently, which shows some of the key elements including pieces of the story, primary locations and protagonists, including the hound, and music from composers Akira Yamaoka and Arkadiusz Reikowski.

The Medium will have players sneak past forboding enemies, solve challenging puzzles, work with sinister spirits, and unmask disturbing secrets about Marianne and those she encounters. Players will be able to pre-order today for a 10% discount off the game’s cost of $49.99. The pre-order will include the digital Original Soundtrack and digital artbook called The Art of The Medium.

Those who would like a physical copy can pre-order physical editions at participating retailers as Koch Media will be helping with the physical editions. Those who do get a physical edition can pre-order it on both Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 platforms and will receive The Medium: Two Worlds Special Edition that will include a steelbook, soundtrack, and printed artwork where available.
