Life is Strange: True Colors has inspired Australian artists, Angus & Julia Stone to create a soundtrack based on the complexities of love between siblings, families, and communities, all themes that the series is known for.
It should come as no surprise to any Life is Strange fan, that the series is absolutely inspirational, emotional, and thrilling. Its stories are unforgettable and will stick with those who have played them for the rest of their lives.
The stories often touch on themes pertaining to love, friendship, communities, family, and much, much more. These are all themes that players can expect to experience when they take on the role of Alex Chen, a young woman navigating through her years of early adulthood in Haven Springs.
Through the power of the upcoming story, Australian artists, Angus & Julia Stone have found themselves inspired to write an album called Life is Strange, inspired by those very themes that Life is Strange: True Colors is based upon.
Players will get to experience some of the moments that Alex will deal with emotionally, physically, and mentally through the power of music. In the game, Alex will come across hardships within her tight-knit community, having moved to the town in search of their long-lost father.
Among their issues, Alex is a powerful Empath, a psychic that struggles to deal with her “curse” and coming to terms with it. She will struggle with the ability to absorb and influence the emotions of others, which to her, she can see as energy fields or auras. Alex Chen will be brought to life by Erika Mori and of course, the soundtrack by Angus & Julia Stone will be a huge part of the soundtrack alongside artists Gabrielle Aplin, Radiohead, Phoebe Bridgers, and more.
Life is Strange: True Colors is set to release on September 10th, 2021, for PC via Steam, PlayStation, Xbox, and Google Stadia with a Nintendo Switch version coming later this year. Angus & Julia Stones’ album, “Life is Strange” can be found on Spotify today.
