Crytek has confirmed that the Crysis Remastered Trilogy is coming to consoles in Fall 2021 and will be purchasable as a collection or individually at their time of release. Are you ready?
Well, if you haven’t heard it once before, you’re about to hear it once again: But can it run Crysis?
The answer is? Well, yes, yes it can. Crytek wants us to know that their massive new announcement indeed confirms that the Crysis franchise is on its way to modern consoles and PCs. The collection will feature fully released on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch in Fall 2021.
The Crysis Remastered Trilogy will be available for individual purchases or as a bundled collection, giving fans a chance to own all three, and experience that series that has continued to grow in popularity since its initial release on last-gen consoles. You’ll take the coastal sandbox world in a chain of islands in the Pacific as you dawn the Nanosuit as Prophet, explore the wastes of New York with the Nansouit 2.0 before taking to the ravaged streets and fields of New York City that has been turned into a giant nanodome.
Prophet will have to use every tool of the trade to succeed in eliminating the alien threat that threatens all of humanity, “We’re excited to announce that these iconic Crysis games are returning in one bundle, remastered for a new generation of hardware,” said Crytek’s Steffen Halbig, Project Lead. “Each game is enhanced to look and play beautifully on today’s platforms, delivering the finest Crysis experience for both newcomers to our classic franchise or players wishing to relive the adventure.”
Currently, Crysis Remastered is available as a standalone purchase on all available platforms today or can be purchased as a part of the Crysis Remastered Trilogy bundle in Fall 2021.
