KOEI TECMO and Omega Force have revealed that the famed Musou series, Samurai Warriors is making a return in Summer 2021 for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. Here’s what you can expect when the highly-anticipated title launches.
Since the release of SAMURAI WARRIORS 4 in 2014, fans have been waiting to see the iconic series return, taking fans to all-new distances and scenarios in the famed 1 vs. 1,000 series, which will see its latest entry launch in Summer 2021 for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
KOEI TECMO has confirmed that the long-awaited title will also be playable on next-gen consoles via their backward compatibility. SAMURAI WARRIORS 5 will be a major re-imagining for the franchise, giving it an all-new storyline, revamped character designs, and a new visual presentation for fans to enjoy as they trek through the Sengoku period of Japan.
Players will get to see familiar faces such as Nobunaga Oda, Mitsuhide Akechi, and many more, as the electrifying return will be live-streamed on February 26th, JST, on the KOEI TECMO Twitch channel. Stay tuned as we’ll keep you up-to-date as more information is released.
