Lady Dimitrescu is over 9 feet tall in Resident Evil Village, Capcom confirms

If you were ever wondering exactly how tall Lady Dimitrescu from Resident Evil Village actually is, well, way taller than any of us expected. Here’s what Art Director Tomonori Takano had to say in regards to the reception of Lady Dimitrescu.

It seems that Lady Dimitrescu has left an impact of sorts on fans of the famed Resident Evil franchise. With Resident Evil Village set to launch on May 7th, 2021, for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S, fans are already gearing up for the hotly anticipated game. The demo, if you will, has garnished more than enough attention after fans realized just what to expect from the main antagonist from the title: Lady Dimitrescu.

She has already received a healthy amount of cosplayers rocking out her character including the likes of cosplayers such as Danica Rockwood (Instagram) and Elle (Instagram). There’s even been a health amount of fan art no matter where you go whether or not it’s on ArtStation, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter or anywhere that an artist might share their work.

The love for Lady Dimitrescu is there and it is undeniable that fans want more of her and her vampire-like family. To get fans really ready for the big release, Art Director Tomonori Takano, revealed just how tall the head of the Dimitrescu family actually is: 9’6”, which, let’s be real, is amazingly tall.

It should come as no surprise though. Even in the latest demo, trailers, and so-forth, Lady Dimitrescu dwarfs her family, making them look absolutely tiny. The reveal about Lady Dimitrescu’s height comes shortly after the heartbreaking passing of 39-year-old actress Jeanette Maus who voiced one of the “daughters” of Lady Dimitrescu, had passed after beating COVID-19 and succumbed to colon cancer (reported originally by PCGamer).

Fans have already promised to honor her by purchasing the game, supporting her legacy, and that of what Capcom has awaiting fans both new and old when Resident Evil Village launches this May.
