The Waylanders adds seven-new languages in its latest update

The latest update for The Waylanders brings in localization support for seven new languages, a photo mode, a handful of bug fixes, and prepares the game for its Spring 2021 release on PC.

I’ve you’ve been holding off on The Waylanders due to various reasons or perhaps bugs, missing language packs, or the likes – you don’t need to anymore. In its latest Winter Update, seven languages have been added to the game along with a photo mode, bug fixes, and localization for Spanish, Latin American Spanish, French, German, Simplified Chinese, Russian, and Galician.

The updates continue as a part of the ongoing process to ensure that The Waylanders meets community standards and gives them the chance to play the game how they wish and within a language that they prefer. The game, however, isn’t done receiving updates in the future, but is beginnning to conclude its Early Access roadmap, allowing for the game to prepare to enter full release in Spring 2021 on Steam and GOG.

“Our last three updates have been driven by community feedback. Since we launched into Early Access we’ve had so much feedback from players about features they’d like, more lore they’d like to see about the world, gameplay bugs they’d like fixed, and languages they’d like to play in. Everything we’ve done over the past three winter updates has been focused on making sure The Waylanders players are being heard while driving us towards launch. With this update out and whole new communities now able to play The Waylanders in their preferred language, we’re taking a moment to review the latest community feedback before announcing a launch date,” said The Waylanders Creative Director, Sergio Prieto.

Those looking to explore the world of The Waylanders can do so today at a 20% discount for the remainder of this week on Steam Early Access and on GOG.
