The long-awaited Biomutant has officially received a release date for May 25th, 2021, which will bring the game to current-gen consoles while also playable on next-gen platforms. You can also check out the launch editions of the game today. Pre-orders have started as of now.
Biomutant remains an enigma of sorts. It’s a title we’ve heard about for years, even wondered about more than we should, but, it remains fresh on our minds as THQ Nordic reminds us that the game still exists and it’s still preparing for release. That just happens to be the case here as THQ Nordic has revealed that Biomutant has locked in on a May 25th, 2021, release date after several delays, which saw the game pushed from 2019 to 202, and 2020 to 2021.
To help pique our interest, Biomutant will also have a few editions available, while supplies last, at launch. This includes the Atomic Edition and a ‘standard’ Collector’s Edition. Both of these feature their very own content that they ship with ranging in a different variety of memorabilia for the game. We do want to note, however, the mockups below are in PEGI format, but will have ESRB on the contents in North America.

These collectibles aren’t coming cheap either as each edition exceeds $99.99 USD. Those looking to snag the Atomic Edition will need to shell out $399.99 USD, but, the goodies in it, aren’t too shabby. You can check out that list down below:
- High Detail Diorama – 60cm/23″ long, 25cm/10″ width, 30cm/12″ height
- Game Biomutant
- Steelbook
- T-Shirt in L/XL
- Oversized Mousepad 80cm/31″ x 35cm/14″
- The artwork on Fabric A1 size
- Soundtrack
- Premium Box

The items in the Atomic Edition aren’t bad by any means. They’re pretty nifty, but the price comes in rather steeep. The Collector’s Edition isn’t bad either, but, don’t expect the high detail diorama to be apart of this bundle:
- Game Biomutant
- Game hero figurine
- The artwork on Fabric A1 size
- Soundtrack
- Premium Box
Biomutant will be launching on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on May 25th, 2021, with a standard edition as well for $59.99 USD. THQ Nordic has confirmed that pre-orders are now open while supplies last at participating retailers.
