With the epic conclusion to The Dark Heart of Skyrim having taken place, adventurers can begin to set their eyes to Oblivion as Bethesda prepares for the official reveal of the next expansion ‘Gates of Oblivion’ for January 26th, 2021, on the official Bethesda channel on Twitch.
As we set our eyes to the future of The Elder Scrolls Online, Bethesda and ZeniMax Online Studios are preparing for something big. That big thing just happens to be fans being able to jump into the story that will involve the famed Gates of Oblivion, which many of you might recognize from The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion.
To help reveal the game, ZOS Director Matt Firor and Bethesda Softworks’ Senior Vice President of Marketing and Communications Pete Hines will come together to introduce the next major saga for The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited on January 26th, 2021, at 5 PM EST via the official Bethesda channel over on Twitch.
As part of the showcase, those who attend can receive Twitch Drops including an Ouroboros Crown Crate and the all-new Viridescent Dragon Frog Pet, completely free of charge. During the show, fans will be able to see some special discussions by members of ZeniMax Online Studios’ development team (including Creative Director Rich Lambert, Art Director CJ Grebb, and Loremaster Leamon Tuttle) as they break down the big reveals.
However, that’s not all. The team has revealed that those who stick around can check in on the ESO Live Special by Community Managers Jessica Folsom and Gina Bruno as they recap the big news and take deeper dives into some of the new features and adventures coming in the first half of 2021.
For a full breakdown of the upcoming event, you can check out the official The Elder Scrolls Online blog post today for a breakdown of European times on Wednesday, January 27th, 2021.
