In a recent announcement, Square Enix revealed that they are hard at work on the follow-up title to the 2007 sleeper hit, The World Ends With You. To prepare fans for the long-awaited sequel, Square Enix has released an official trailer to prepare fans for NEO: The World Ends with You, which is slated for release in Summer 2021 for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch.

As part of bringing the series into the modern age, NEO: The World Ends with You has moved to a 3D presentation from the 2D experience of its predecessor, which received a remaster on Nintendo Switch in 2018. The game will have players revisit areas such as Shibuya, the 104 building, and Tower Records. You might even take notice of familiar faces from the first game such as Sho Minamimoto, Koki Kariya, and Tsugumi Matsunae.
