Spellbreak has officially launched on consoles and PC

Breakers can now enter the battlegrounds that Spellbreak has to offer as the game has officially released into its free-to-play state on all platforms including Nintendo Switch.

After years of being in beta access for Founder’s, Proletriate has revealed that their smash-hit title, Spellbreak, has entered full release on PC via the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 4, Xbox one, and Nintendo Switch as of today.

The game will be the first to use full cross-play support and progression, allowing fans to move seamlessly from PlayStation 4, to Xbox one, to Nintendo Switch, and PC through their Epic Games account. All purchases, customizations, and stats, will carry over without a hitch as players can also carry over their friends and create cross-platform squads with their friends.

“Today marks the beginning of a new era in multiplayer gaming. The team worked incredibly hard to deliver one of the first ever simultaneous cross-platform, cross-play, and cross-progression launches,” said Seth Sivak, CEO of Proletariat. “Spellbreak’s unique combat and innovative gameplay will be available for all players to play with whoever they want, on whatever platform they want, regardless of hardware choice.”

As many know, Spellbreak, is an action-based multiplayer title taking the best of battle royale elements while allowing fans to combine the power of their spells to unleash unique occurances. Those occurances can range from electrified gas clouds, fiery tornadoes, and explosive ice walls to take their enemies out with.
