In a surprise announcement, Square Enix has revealed that its upcoming title from developer People Can Fly, OUTRIDERS, will be coming to Google Stadia in 2020, bringing the co-op action experience to an even larger player base.
OUTRIDERS is quite possibly one of the most anticipated co-op titles coming out in 2021. The dark sci-fi world and its already intriguing story will be taking players into a never-before-seen universe where they become an outsider, a pioneer from the past who has been reborn with inhuman powers.
Players will define how they play through the powers they select, the way they level their character, and the gear they equip including their arsenal. To help the game reach an even larger player base, Square Enix is bringing the game to another platform outside of the originally planned PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and next-gen console launches.
The game will be coming to Google Stadia. To help fans prepare, Sebastian Wojchiechowski, CEO and Studio Head at People Can Fly, commented on the upcoming release through the use of Cloud technology, “It is my pleasure to announce that OUTRIDERS will be available on Google Stadia. One of the core concepts of OUTRIDERS is that you can play it your way, with a character progression system that allows for unrivalled creativity and flexibility. With the exciting and innovative Cloud technology of Google Stadia, you will be able to play your way, anywhere.”
The Google Stadia launch of OUTRIDERS will be available in 2021 while PC and current-gen and next-gen consoles will have the game in their hands Holiday 2020.
