If you’re a busy traveler traveling to and fro, Nintendo is about to change things up with special Nintendo Lounges coming to select airports starting Thursday, February 13th, 2020. So let’s talk about planning that very next trip.

With convention season almost upon us and it’s hard to imagine how you’ll kill time between your flights. Layovers are a real bummer, seeing you sometimes having delays between – at times – two and three hours before you get to your next flight or perhaps your flight begins to board.

Whatever the cause might be, Nintendo is aiming to make life a bit easier for frequent fliers, allowing them to get some hands-on time with the Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch Lite at participating airports across the United States in their Nintendo Switch On The Go pop-up airport lounges.

At these lounges, players will get to enjoy the luxury of comfortable seating, charging ports, Nintendo Switch game demos playable in both handheld and TV mode, allowing players to experience the convenience and the joy that the Nintendo Switch family of consoles can offer a person no matter where they go.

Nintendo fans, both new and old alike, can enjoy games such as The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the WildMario Kart 8 DeluxeSuper Mario OdysseySuper Mario Party and Tetris 99 alongside other titles that the lounges will have to offer.

With a vast library of exciting entertainment to launch into, we hope travelers discover that Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch Lite make great companions for their trips,” said Nick Chavez, Nintendo of America’s Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing. “Spending time with Nintendo games at our On The Go lounges will give people the opportunity to begin or end their journeys with a smile.

But, they aren’t just bringing the fun to you, they’re also offering those who visit the lounges at the Nintendo Switch On The Go experience, a chance to order Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch Lite systems, receiving a free carry case with their orders. Travelers, don’t you fret, you can also order select Nintendo Switch games and some sweet Nintendo Merchandise at those pop-up lounges.

Just know, you can get a pretty sweet Nintendo Switch branded luggage handle wrap and a $10 coupon from Target to use on any Nintendo purchase costing $75 USD or more, while supplies last of course. You can check out the official dates and locations down below:
