The first top-down action-adventure title set in the Darksiders universe is set to launch on PC and Google Stadia starting December 5th. THQ Nordic and Airship Syndicate have confirmed console release dates for the co-op title.

As a first-ever in the series, Darksiders Genesis will see players take on the franchise from an entirely new viewpoint – top-down – giving you a chance to see the action-adventure series in a way it’s never been seen in before. The new game will debut the fourth and final horsemen in the series, Strife, who has been absent since the franchise launched.

The new title will see both Strife and War work together, taking advantage of Strife’s ability to attack from afar while War brings in the brutality of melee-style combat. The game is currently set to release on PC and Google Stadia on December 5th, 2019, with consoles following on February 14th, 2020. You can check out the official ‘Not Alone’ trailer down below.

Those looking to pre-order can do so by heading over to the official Darksiders site and do-so today ahead of its launch.
