Still waiting for your chance to play Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege starting on August 28th in preparation for Operation Ember Rise? You can and here’s the lowdown about the upcoming free play week.
As Operation Ember Rise nears release and prepares to finish up its time on the PTR, Ubisoft has revealed an upcoming free-weekend of the game starting tomorrow, August 28th, until September 3rd, depending on what platform you are on. Ubisoft has revealed that the free play week will include all maps, modes, and players can experience up to 20 Legacy operators.
During this time, you can benefit from a 70% off on the Base game (PC only), Deluxe, Gold, and Ultimate Editions of the game from August 29th until September 9th depending on the SKU and what digital market you purchase it from. Sales will vary based on the platform players are on.
Currently, the upcoming Operation Ember Rise is available for testing on the PTR, allowing players to test out Attacker and Defender’s Amaru and Goyo from Peru and Mexico, respectively. The newest map by the name of Kanal can also be experienced, which has been reworked for better navigation and flow by both teams.
Ubisoft has also revealed an upcoming Battle Pass system that will be coming to the game with a free Phase 1 pass named “Call Me Harry” that will make an appearance later this season. While Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege has continually been evolving since it launched, you can expect to see more significant changes in the future.
