Bandai Namco is set to celebrate Goku Day tomorrow on Dragon Ball FighterZ. You can jump in today in order to celebrate by playing as Goku in the game, or y’know, just enjoying Dragon Ball FighterZ as you always do.
With May the Fourth just walking up that hill into the sunset, we’ve already been gearing up for Mario day tomorrow on March 10th in our very own ways, including playing some Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Edition on the Switch. Now, today is a special one, and for us fans, it’s a big one.
To understand why today is so important, you need to know that May is “Go,” which is short for “Gogatsu” in Japanese. 9 is “Ku,” thus, Go-Ku. Or rather, Goku day. To celebrate today’s big day, Bandai Namco released a little short celebrating Goku himself.
How will you celebrate Goku day? For us, we’ll be tossing in a copy of that newly released Dragon Ball Super: Broly and playing some Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 on the Switch.
But if you have a copy of Dragon Ball FighterZ on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, or the Switch, jump in, enjoy a few matches, and if you haven’t feel free to snag up that Season Pass and knock Goku around with a few birthday pats with Broly.
Dragon Ball FighterZ is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC. The game is currently on its second season pass, which has Dragon Ball GT Goku, a second Broly, and more.
