If you are preparing to play RAGE 2 on PC, here’s what specs you need to run it, and they aren’t all that bad for those that haven’t upgraded their hardware just quite yet.

As we gear up, dust off our shotguns, our rifles, and our BFGs (can we even say that about this game?) for RAGE 2 is almost upon us, releasing here in just a short few days on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Luckily for us, we already know the game will be 1080p at 60fps on both the Xbox One X and PlayStation 4, but it’ll be even a little more bonkers for PC users.

For PC users, Bethesda has confirmed that the game will support ultra-wide and super ultra-wide monitors including screen sizes of 21:9 and even 32:9 resolutions, and uncapped framerates. However, the PC features aren’t limited there, as the game will feature a FOV slider, motion blur, and even depth-of-field to the game.

Minimum System Requirements:

  • A 64-bit processor and operating system is required
  • OS: Windows 7, 8.1, or 10 (64-Bit versions)
  • Processor: Intel Core i5-3570 or AMD Ryzen 3 1300X
  • Memory: 8GB RAM
  • Graphics: Nvidia GTX 780 3GB or AMD R9 280 3GB
  • Storage: 50 GB available space

Surprisingly enough, the minimum specs aren’t all that demanding, allowing players to have a rather fun experience, but without the steep needs of modern day PC tech, but if you really want to push the game to its fullest, you’ll need a pretty beefy machine. You can check out the specs down below.

Recommended System Requirements:

  • A 64-bit processor and operating system is required
  • OS: Windows 7, 8.1, or 10 (64-Bit versions)
  • Processor: Intel Core i7-4770 or AMD Ryzen 5 1600X
  • Memory: 8GB RAM
  • Graphics: Nvidia GTX 1070 8GB or AMD Vega 56 8GB
  • Storage: 50 GB available space

Those looking to play the game in 4K may want to set their scopes in on a 1080ti or even a 2080ti as the game seems like it’s going to have pretty beefy system requirements moving forward for those wanting to enable features such as HDR.
