A Plague Tale: Innocence is gearing up for its May 14th, 2019, release on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. To help prepare us even more, Asobo Studio is giving us a cinematic look at the villains you’ll be facing down against throughout Amicia and Hugo’s adventure.

Whether it’s the plague, the Inquisition, or corrupt lords and ladies, A Plague Tale: Innocence isn’t drawing back its punches. Rather, it’s winding up and ready to throw some of its heaviest hitters our direction. These heavy hitters include a holy warrior of the Inquisition, Lord Nicholaus, and even the rats that fill their world.

While the plague itself runs rampant, the siblings must even face down against the forces of the French army, the church, and the disease that plagues those around them. The game itself is absolutely gorgeous, giving us a glimpse of just how dark 14th Century France actually was, and just how troubled it will be when players explore this beautiful and deadly world.

A Plague Tale: Innocence is set to release on May 14th, 2019, on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One by publisher Focus Home Interactive and developer Asobo Studio.
