ONINAKI, set to release on PC, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch gets its first official trailer, outlining the main characters for the upcoming title from Tokyo RPG Factory and publisher Square Enix.

In ONINAKI from Square Enix and developer Tokyo RPG Factory, players will take on the role of young Watcher, Kagachi, who embodies the tenets of reincarnation, and will usher Lost Souls into the afterlife along with Linne, a mysterious girl with no memory of her past, their allies Kushi, and Mayura, fellow Watchers.

Along with them comes the malicious Night Devil, a swordsman who has been forgotten by time and is on the prowl as he hunts down Linne. It’s up to our heroes to save the day and ensure the Night Devil doesn’t get what he needs. With some of the most beautiful cel-shaded graphics on the market, it certainly seems ONINAKI will have a lot to offer later this year. Meanwhile, you can check out the trailer below.

Stay tuned as we’ll keep you up to date as more information for the game is released in the upcoming days ahead.
