Overwatch: The Bastet Challenge has begun, here’s how to earn the drops

After a new release of OVerwatch’s short story “Bastet”, Blizzard revealed that the following their latest event has begun, bringing newly story-inspired content starting today until January 21, 2019. Here’s everything you need to know.

Much like the limited-time “Nano Cola Challenge” for the release of her “Shooting Star” short, the Ana Bastet Challenge is much the same as it coincides with the latest Overwatch short story by the name of “Bastet,” which takes a deeper dive into the history of Ana and Jack Morrison aka Soldier 76.

In their reveal, Blizzard has confirmed that the event starts today and will run through January 21, 2019. During this time, Overwatch players can earn eight unlockables in total including five sprays, a player icon, a victory pose, and Ana’s new Bastet epic skin. But there’s more than one way to earn some of the rewards. You’ll need to double down on in-game victories, but also your time watching specific Overwatch streamers.

You can earn these specific items through victories and through watching specific streamers over on Twitch. For the wins, you need nine total victories in either Quick Play, Competitive Play or through Arcade.

If that’s not enough, you can also tune into some of Overwatch‘s most renowned streamers such as Emongg, Mickie and even Miro by tuning in via the schedule down below. But you will need to ensure that you have linked your Battle.net account with your Twitch account in order to earn your rewards.
