Already set to release on consoles and PC, RPG Maker is a world-renowned creation tool that allows fans to create games of their very own design. Unfortunately, the latest version will be seeing a delay.

In an announcement from NIS America, the publisher and developer of the famed RPG Maker series has confirmed that their upcoming title has unfortunately seen a delay. The company has stated that the game will release later this year and that the cause of the delay is “due to ongoing issues with development.”

With a release slated for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch – one can only wonder what the cause behind the delay actually is. After all, aspiring would-be developers could find some form of learning from their endeavors with this latest batch of tools that will be released with “twice as many premade assets” than before. You’ll also find that the latest version has also been optimized for use with console controllers, a much-welcomed change for those who want to sit back and relax.

Unfortunately, we don’t have a release window for the latest delay and can only hope all is well later this year and that we’ll get some form of confirmation of when we should expect it to release.

Stay tuned as we’ll keep you updated as NIS America releases more information about their upcoming title.
