During The Game Awards 2018, Bethesda revealed the latest trailer for their upcoming open-world shooter from Avalanche Studios in partnership with id Software by the name of RAGE 2. Along with the announcement comes a concrete release date for the highly anticipated title.

Only a few months after we went hands-on with RAGE 2 during QuakeCon 2018, Bethesda has now revealed that their open-world title featuring multiple biomes, gyrocopters, crushing monster trucks, big f**king guns, and mutants galore, will be headed to a PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One near you on May 14, 2019.

In good ol’ id Software and Avalanche Studios fashion, you’ll get to tear across the post-apocalyptic wastelands; tearing through mutants, vagabonds and gangs alike. Whether you are taking out the vibrantly colored Goon Squad or mutants, you’ll have plenty of things to look forward to from massive guns to even bigger explosions as you level up, learn new abilities and take on an experience unlike any other.
