During Microsoft’s E3 showcase, FromSoftware showed off their mysterious ‘Shadows Die Twice’ and revealed it as Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, which was teased during The Game Awards 2017 with a very brief trailer.
During their E3 2018 showcase today, FromSoftware and Microsoft teamed up for the reveal of Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, a game set to take place in feudal Japan, and following FromSoftware’s Soulsborne style combat systems.
The difficulty is undoubtedly going to be a big part of the game as we got to see fast, furious, and challenging fights ensue. Fortunately, this isn’t the first time we heard about the game, but with the new gameplay systems being in place, a chance to die twice, we can only suspect that Sekiro will see to a Souls-style experience using feudal Japan as its backdrop.
However, FromSoftware hasn’t said much more about Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. Stay tuned as we will keep you updated when Activision takes to the stage later this week during E3, where we hope to hear more about the game.
