Today, the independent studio behind Q.U.B.E. has released the first official Gameplay Trailer for their upcoming title Q.U.B.E. 2, a sequel to their award-winning title. The new trailer shows off the world players will come to familiarize themselves when Q.U.B.E. 2 launches in Q1 2018 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.

Like it’s predecessor, Q.U.B.E. 2 will deliver a story unlike any other and will send players into the cold, pristine environments never-before-seen as they explore a monolith that’s never before been seen or explored. Q.U.B.E. 2 features a new and gripping linear story with a more open-ended framework from the previous entry. Included in this new version comes new game mechanics, new surprising elements to explore as players traverse the monoliths depths.

The Gameplay Trailer shows off the experience players can expect come launch, including improved glove controls and more complex puzzles. We want to deliver players a title with production values that belie the small team creating it,” said Dan Da Rocha, Managing Director at Toxic Games. “However most importantly, we aim to deliver a great narrative experience, wrapped in gameplay that offers players some room for experimentation and more open-ended puzzle solving in particular instances.

Stay tuned to our YouTube channel for when we stream Q.U.B.E. 2 once it launches later this year.
