Shin Megami Tensei games are something of a hallmark series for fans of Japanese RPGs. In Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey Redux is ready to take players on a wild adventure as they fight back against unknown enemies that are appearing through a spatial distortion.

Starting on May 15, 2018, Nintendo 3DS owners can take on the role of a member of the United Nations as a member of an elite task force that has been formed to fight back against these invasions. As a member of this elite task force made up of advanced specialists, you’ll don your Demonica in order to fight back against these unknown forces, ones appearing from a world unlike any other.

In this remastered version, players work to explore a spatial anomaly known as the Schwarzwelt, a dome of dark energy that could destroy the world. Within it is a dark world, one that is populated by demons and deadly traps that lay in wait. With this new version comes brand-new illustrations by Masayuki Doi, updated visuals, user interface enhancements and plenty more for fans to enjoy when the game launches on May 5, 2018, exclusively for the Nintendo 3DS at the MSRP of $39.99.
