We’ve Got Our First Look at Alicia Vikander as Lara Croft in ‘Tomb Raider’

There’s no doubt that since the reboot of the Tomb Raider franchise, fans have been clamoring about for a rebooted movie series, and in recent months those requests have been answered as Warner Bros. have finally released a few glimpses of what her character will look like.

Following rather closely to the recently rebooted series, published by Square Enix, it seems that WB isn’t far off from remaining true to the spirit of the franchise, and could very well over a cinematic experience we’ve yet to experience. You can check out the official teaser below.

While there’s certiantly no doubt that she’s nailed the vibe we can only hope that Daniel Wu (actor) and the team can expect to see the stellar cast featuring Alicia Vikander, Walton Goggins, and Dominic West absolutely deliver their roles.

While the trailer does give us a good feel for the young, scrappy, and adventurous Lara Croft, we can only wonder what the movie will be like since this teaser offers little to nothing about her acting, the focus on story, or even offers a glimpse of the movies supporting cast. Lets just hope it doesn’t follow in the steps of the rebooted titles, which were known for their adventurous endeavors more than their stories thanks to the massive lands that Lara traversed.

Since the trailer drops tomorrow, we can only expect that this teaser is something to do with the films early post-production and that tomorrows trailer will give us a full blown look at Vikander and friends before they hit the silver screen next year.
