If you’ve been waiting for PvP in Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands, your wait is almost over as Ubisoft has announced today, that the open beta for the upcoming Ghost War mode will be available on all platforms later this summer. The full game mode itself being expect to launch this fall as a free update for the game.
When Ghost War launches this fall, players will get to duke it out in a four-versus-four team deathmatch mode, where players will build on tactical squad gameplay, which is featured in the main game. Teams will choose from a roster of varied classes in order to fill specified roles as they navigate large-scale, open maps in order to take out their enemies. The game will also integrate new PvP mechanics, which will include supressive gun fire and sound markers.
This mode will add-on to the core gameplay that fans have known for a year now. In Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands squads of four aim to take down the Santa Blanca Cartel and end the atrocities they have committed.
