If you’ve been waiting for news about a .hack//G.U. Last Recode physical edition release date, today just happens to be your day, since Bandai Namco has announced that the game will get a physical edition on PlayStation 4.
This edition will launch side-by-side with the games digital copies that will still be launching through both the PlayStation Store and Steam store. Both platforms will see the physical edition releasing at participating retailers as pre-orders opened up today.
.hack//G.U. Last Recode brings back the original three .hack//G.U. action-RPG titles that launched on PlayStation 2. Players will once more revisit Rebirth, Reminise, and Redemption in 1080p with a 16:9 widescreen ratio. The games have also been set at 60fps with balanced gameplay enhancements, and additional features that will be announced at a later date, which makes this the definite edition long-time fans have waited for.
.hack//G.U. Last Recode is set to launch this fall on PC and PlayStation 4.
