The wait for ELDEN RING is almost over as fans can go hands-on with the upcoming ELDEN RING Closed Network Test this November. Elden Ring is scheduled to release on February 25th, 2022. Here’s what you need to know.
If you are wanting to go hands-on with the upcoming grand fantasy Action-RPG title from FromSoftware and publisher Bandai Namco, you may want to set your alarms for some interesting hours from November 12th, 2021, through November 14th, 2021, for the Americas.
Bandai Namco and FromSoftware will be conducting a Closed Network Test period during those days, giving fans a chance to stress the servers, find some bugs, and ultimately try to help squash them if at all possible.
Unfortunately for fans, ELDEN RING has been delayed from its January 2021 release date until February 25th, 2022, giving FromSoftware an extra month to polish the game, strengthen its core code, and ensure a smooth experience when the title releases.
The ELDEN RING Closed Network Test will be conducted on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S during the following time frame as provided to us by Bandai Namco:
- November 12: 3:00 A.M. to 6:00 A.M. PST
- November 12: 7:00 P.M. to 10:00 P.M. PST
- November 13: 11:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. PST
- November 14: 3:00 A.M. to 6:00 A.M. PST
- November 14: 7:00 P.M. to 10:00 P.M. PST
The tests will allow for online multiplayer cross-generation play between PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, and the same for Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S users. However, it does not look like the game will support cross-play between console platforms at this time. Those looking to participate in the Americas will need to go to the official ELDEN RING Closed Network Test site in order for a chance to participate: https://www.eldenring.com/cnt/
ELDEN RING will launch on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox platforms on February 25th, 2021. Stay tuned as we’ll keep you up-to-date as more information is released about the upcoming title.
