FuRyu and NIS America have confirmed that they are bringing Crystar to the Nintendo Switch in a worldwide release and the title will include all previously released DLC.
Crystar somehow remains a hidden gem to many. It’s a unique game, one that tells a heartbreaking, but somehow, beautiful story in an action RPG format. In it, players take on the role of Rei as she attempts to resurrect her deceased sister. In order to do so, Rei faces down hordes of demons, collecting ideas from them, and fulfilling her role as an Executor.
Her tears, as one might imagine, aren’t just for her grief, but also the source for her additional power she has. The title will see players take on her role, heading into purgatory, and ultimately, looking how to bring her sister back from the dead. As part of the upcoming release, FuRyu and NIS America have confirmed that the upcoming release will feature the original game as well as all previously released DLC. The Nintendo Switch release of Crystar is expected to happen in Spring 2022 as revealed by NIS America who will be publishing the game.
