NieR Replicant will feature all-new story content, extra dungeon, and more

Aside from fully-remastered graphics, animations, and gameplay mechanics; NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139 will feature all-new content, an extra dungeon, and plenty more when it launches.

As we prepare for the launch of NieR Replicant ver. 1.22474487139, fans can rest assured that they aren’t just getting a remastered game, rather one that has been improved upon, and ultimately enhanced. The upcoming remaster will feature – of course – remastered visuals, a re-recordered soundtrack, and all-new voice dialogues that are exclusive to the remaster.

The upcoming release of NieR Replicant Remaster will include all-new story content, an extra dungeon, costumes, and even NieR: Automata-themed costumes & weapons, along with a NieR: Automata playable soundtrack, and plenty more for fans to enjoy.

Thankfully, Square Enix has outlined the all-new content in-depth, which gives us an idea of what to expect. So let’s take a look at those features down below:

Extra Episode – Players can enjoy a new scenario and exhilarating boss battle by playing through the game, in an all-new “Mermaid” episode featuring a wrecked ship and a little girl.

Extra Dungeons from “15 Nightmares” – Previously released as downloadable content for the original release in Japan and similar to “The World of Recycled Vessel” content in the West, fans will be able to undertake a series of challenging dungeons as the “15 Nightmares” protagonist in the world of a recycled vessel. Playing through the dungeons will unlock a variety of weapons, as well as extra costumes, “Kabuki” and “Samurai.” You will also be able to change the appearance of enemy bullets to Emil’s face through the option menu after obtaining either of the costumes.

Soundtrack from NieR: Automata – Players will unlock an option to switch to select background music tracks from the critically acclaimed NieR: Automata after completing the first playthrough.

Guest Cast from NieR: Automata – The English and Japanese voice actors of 2B and 9S will be featured in the game.

Fans who want to experience some bonus content can also work on obtaining the costumes from “15 Nightmares” right at launch, also giving fans a chance to enjoy them alongside a free “YoRHa” costume swap pack for their characters. The costume swap would allow them to enjoy 9S, 2B, and A2 appearances on the playable characters starting this Friday.
