In an official reveal, Curse of the Dead Gods and Dead Cells will be crossing over on april 14th, 2021, bringing the world of Dead Cells into Curse of the Dead Gods across all available platforms.
Since its release, Curse of the Dead Gods has continued to claim victims to its incredibly challenging gameplay mechanics, and its cleverly written story, just as Dead Cells has been since its release. Now, the two critically-acclaimed games will be crossing over in an all-new update coming to Curse of the Dead Gods on April 14th, 2021, for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
With the event kicking off next week fans can expect some exciting new features including a new curse called Curse of the Headless, which will make players move faster, but at the cost of taking more damage. Oh, it’ll even have a special visual twist that will make their characters look like the main character from Dead Cells.
A new set of weapons, three to be exact, will also be available. Weapons included are the Sword of Conjunctivius, the Broadsword of the Knight, and the Crossbow of the Condemned. Each weapon will come with its very own abilities when the update becomes available.
There will also be a new challenge room that can be found during each run a player makes, which includes a Dead Cells Cursed Chest, a special challenge, and a rare weapon that can be obtained. If you haven’t already, you can check out both games today in both digital and physical formats.
