SHADOW MAN: REMASTERED announced for PC, consoles versions currently in development

Nightdive Studios has revealed that they are hard at work getting SHADOW MAN: REMASTERED ready for release on PC. If you are ready to return to the Deadside, here’s what you need to know ahead of the game’s release this April.

If you are looking to revisit another ’90s classic, go grab a case of SURGE, some pizza pockets, and prepare for a beautifully remastered version of SHADOW MAN: REMASTERED, which will be released on April 15th, 2021. The upcoming release, at this time, will be exclusive to PC users on Steam, GOG, and the Epic Games Store.

Since its original release on PC, PlayStation, Nintendo 64, and Dreamcast, this new update will see players experience the game in 4K resolutions, including widescreen, improvements to the jagginess of it with the use of anti-aliasing, and of course, a bunch of other post-processing features that modern PCs use. The game will also feature enhanced lighting and shadow effects thanks to the use of HDR, dynamic shadow mapping, and per-pixel lighting.

Currently, a console version is in development for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. A release date is currently TBD as fans will be able to add it to their library alongside Rogue Trooper before too long. To kick things off, Nightdive Studios has also confirmed that a new run of SHADOWMAN will be returning thanks to Valiant entertainment and New York Times bestselling writer, Cullen Bunn.
