DOOM 3: VR Edition revealed as a PSVR exclusive and launches on March 29th

DOOM 3: VR Edition is on its way as a PlayStation VR exclusive and will see fans jump into the game that brought the series into the horror genre in an entirely new light. Here’s what you need to know.

There’s no doubt about it: DOOM 3 when it first launched was nightmare fuel. If it wasn’t demon babies crying when you took them out, it was surely the sound of something going awry just down the hall in the UAC Mars Station. It was nightmare fuel, it was one of the most terrifying games of its time, and truth-be-told: It’s not changing with the VR launch.

DOOM 3: VR Edition has been revealed by Bethesda as a March 29th, 2021, launch exclusively on Sony’s PlayStation VR platform, which may come as a surprise to many. The VR Edition will feature both the base game alongside the Resurrection of Evil and The Lost Mission expansions.

Fans will be able to take advantage of VR exclusive features including breakneck speed 180-degree turning, a wrist-mounted display to help you track health, armor, and ammo, and lastly, our beloved flashlight.

While DOOM 3: VR Edition has been given a March 29th, 2021, release date, no official price point has been revealed at this time.
