The long-awaited sequel to The Caligula Effect is coming to PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch in Fall 2021. A super limited-edition announced for the NIS America store.

It’s official, director Takuya Yamanaka and scenario-writer Tadashi Satomi are officially returning for the long-awaited sequel to the JRPG where social links, levelling, and class building matter when progressing through the game’s very story. Now, fans can jump back in Fall 2021 into the world of The Caligula Effect 2 on PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch.

In The Caligula Effect 2, players will jump into the world where a virtuadoll named Regret has created the world of Redo. Unfortunately, those within the world of Redo are imprisoned within Regret’s simulation, locking them into her “paradise” she created. Now, players must join the Go-Home Club once again, build their resistance group, and fight their way through Regret and her enforces, the Obbligato Musicians in order to survive.
