Fans of the horror-inspired JRPG series, Death end;Request can jump into the latest story today on PlayStation 4 and PC via Steam in North America with a European launch on August 28th, 2020.

If you’ve been waiting to see where the story of Death end re:Quest 2 will take you after the events of its predecessor, your wait is now over as Idea Factory has released the long-awaited sequel. The game has been launched with the support of English, Japanese, and Simplified Chinese subtitles.

Idea Factory International, the publisher behind the series, has also revealed that if you head to their online store, you can snag both a Standard and or Limited Edition copy of the game in order to receive a special IFI Store DLC content bundle that includes a special PlayStation 4 Dynamic Theme, Original Soundtrack (24 songs), Avatar Set, and DLC access.

Along with the support of the scenario writer of the Corpse Party series, Makoto Kedouin, fans can prepare for one of the most visceral experiences yet as character designer Kei Nameda, jumps into the fray, bringing forth unique designs that expand on Kei’s work in the previous entry.

To help usher in today’s release, Idea Factory has also revealed that there is optional DLC that is available now with a second release of content coming on September 15th, 2020. Some of that content can be viewed via the gallery above. Death End re;Quest 2 is available now in North America and Friday in Europe.
